Never before has a project at SwissLife been as easy as the connection to the Funke Lettershop! So why not get started sooner!

Thanks to our Lettershop Connect solution from DocGenie, several thousand documents have been automatically processed into mailings every day since mid-June. In July, around 200,000 pages were printed and 150,000 mailings were sent.

Depending on the division, SwissLife delivers collected PDFs with descriptive JSON either as early as 6:00 a.m. or at various intervals throughout the day. Our long-standing partner FUNKE Lettershop ensures timely delivery to the post office if it is not a courier shipment.

DocGenie Connect ensures the correct preparation of postal-compliant items, with the option of connecting franking for A Mail Plus or registered letters, as well as electronic posting (AVZ).

As a mail item can consist of different paper media and duplex processes, the print jobs of the printer line and inserter are prepared accordingly.

In certain constellations, the envelope must be printed dynamically. Here too, DocGenie ensures that the lettershop operator receives the appropriately prepared print file.

SwissLife receives automated feedback (JSON in SwissLife format) for the purpose of seamless tracking when the following gates are passed: On receipt of the data, on validation of the data, on completion of printing, on completion of enveloping and finally on handover to Swiss Post.
